Electrical/Electronics - SENSORS & TRANSDUCERS 0201ee

  • low profile
  • durable

Rotary sensor.

Measuring 16.2mm high with maximum receptacle height of 25.9mm, the dual output 9850 Gen II series sensors provide a 30% reduction over previous model profiles for applications with confined areas typically associated with automotive, heavy equipment, marine and industrial controls. They are designed to withstand 95% humidity at 38°C, 50 Gs shock and 15 Gs vibration resistance, with accurate readings between -40°C and 135°C. Standard resistance is 5,000(omega) ±20%, ±2.0% standard linearity and a mechanical life rated at 1 million full cycles and 5 million dither cycles. Integral right-angle connector receptacles are designed to accept industry-standard Metri-Pack connectors. BEI Duncan, Tustin, CA. Free info--Circle 630. Go direct to spec at:

8502_631 Transducer indicator. The hand-held PHM-100's peak hold feature captures in less than one millisecond and operates on a 9-volt battery for 60 hours. In combination with the TLL in-line load cell, it forms an economical system for OEM force measurement. Transducer Techniques Inc, Temecula, CA. Free info--Circle 631. http://www.OneRS.net/102df-631

8502_632 Magnetic encoder. The SHS170 servomotor feedback system's large 50mm hollow-shaft bore allows direct mounting of the encoder onto large motors or load shafts. This floating mount prevents excessive shaft loading and misalignment. Stegmann Inc, Dayton, OH. Free info--Circle 632. http://www.OneRS.net/102df-632

8502_633 Programmable temperature transmitters. Eliminating manual setup, FlexProgrammer links to a PC (Windows 3.11, 95, 98 and NT platforms) to program Kamstrup FlexTop temperature transmitters. These devices accept a variety of inputs, from Pt100 to RTD, thermocouple, mV and R inputs, with 4-20 mA and HART outputs. Flexprogrammer can configurate linearization, damping and status indication. Sensor Scientific Inc, Fairfield, NJ. Free info--Circle 633. http://www.OneRS.net/102df-633

8502_643 Tiny diffuse laser sensor. At 1/8 the size of current counterparts, the OHDK10 has a sensing range between 20 and 100mm and a response time of less than 500 microseconds. Monitoring its own light ouput, the sensor self-adjusts for environmental changes. Baumer Electric, Southington, CT. Free info--Circle 643. http://www.OneRS.net/102df-643

8502_644 Shielded level transmitter. A stainless steel shield protects the elastomeric diaphragm of the KPSI 750 series level transmitter for use in harsh sludge or slurry. With a pressure range from 0-5 to 0-300 psi, the sensing area is 3-in. wide. Pressure Systems Inc, Hampton, VA. Free info--Circle 644. http://www.OneRS.net/102df-644

8502_649 Ultrasonic sensors. With microprocessor intelligence, the Diamond 2000 allows filtering of the return signal to descriminate the desired target from unwanted false echoes and ambient noise. It has excellent range and a short dead zone of 6 in. to 25 ft. Scientific Technologies Inc, Fremont, CA. Free info--Circle 649. http://www.OneRS.net/102df-649

8502_637 Pneumatic cylinder transducer. The BackPack feedback transducer bolts directly onto the housing of pneumatic cylinders for non-contact, vibration-resistant position sensing.. The magnetostrictive positioning is accurate and stable to <2µm resolution. Balluff Inc, Florence, KY. Free info--Circle 637. http://www.OneRS.net/102df-637

8502_638 Displacement transducer. The DT/DT420 transducer/transmitter attaches to a fixed body with a moving element detecting displacement up to 500 in. accurately to ±0.1 F.S. The dust-tight design has various output configurations between 4 and 20 mA. PSI-tronix Technologies Inc, Tulare, CA. Free info--Circle 638.

8502_651 Calorimetric flow sensors. With no moving parts, Model 4115.30 smart flow-captors are not subject to sticking or lock-up in sludge or brackish media. Flow-captors provide accurate metering of the average flow speed across the pipe of both turbulent and laminar flows by measuring at 1/7 the pipe diameter. The adjustable span runs between 0-0.2 and 0-3 m/sec, with a linearized 4-20 mA output. weber Sensors Inc, Woodstock, GA. Free info--Circle 651.
