Flow switch

  • Allows high flow

  • Maintains low-pressure drop

The patented Model 2600 flow switch operates by a two-mode design: set point and by-pass. The set point is achieved by either increasing or decreasing liquid flow at the calibrated set point of the flow switch. A magnet-equipped shuttle that is displaced at the calibrated set point actuates the hermetically sealed reed switch, which is housed within a removable bonnet assembly. The by-pass mode allows for high flow yet still maintains a very low pressure drop. Made of PVC, stainless steel and ceramic, the Model 2600 can handle temperatures to 140°F and pressures to 150 psig. Process and connections are in-line 2-in. slip ports. A variety of adapters are available to reduce down as necessary. Standard wet set points are available in 0.5 gpm, 1.0 gpm and 2.0 gpm. Thomas Products Ltd, Southington, CT.
