MATERIALS
Copolyester,
Booth 454
Eastar copolyester PETG 6763 was used in this roller bottle to allow greater cell tissue production. Pleats in the sidewall increase surface area, whereas PETG surface treatment promotes cell attachment and proliferation. This material provides greater strength and durability (even in temperatures as low as -45°C) than polystyrene — a main consideration for critical biomedical applications.
