Every year at the National Design Engineering Show, companies
supplying components to the OEM market come out to show their
wares and strut their stuff, as it were. Every year engineers
attend this show to wrap their hands and minds around newly
introduced products and services, and this year, we at Designfax
have noticed a lot of innovation.
To help readers and attendees stay organized, and to make
sense of the many show introductions, we've separated the
Show portion of the magazine into seven product sections.
This structure allows those looking for, say, materials to
dive directly into the section, get a taste for the products
available and locate the companies and booth numbers they
wish to visit without wading through non-materials products
they are not interested in at the time.
A page of heavier stock paper initiates most of these Show
sections. We've asked industry leaders to sponsor those opening
pages and comment on the industry from their own perspective.
These pieces are written by key players who are intimate with
the industry, whose companies rely on a keen understanding
of their customers' needs, and who care about the products
and services they supply. For this reason, we urge you to
carefully look over these insights and to take the messages
to heart.
