Passive/Active Component
The PAC TF Series offers an integrated clock termination and filter circuit
designed specifically for the PC market. The unit helps eliminate ringing,
delays and cross talk in microprocessor clock signals. The miniature 24-pin
QSOP package replaces a discrete solution of 16 components, reducing manufacturing
costs. System reliability is enhanced through the elimination of interconnects,
and board space is also conserved. California Micro Devices Corp,
215 Topaz St, Milpitas, CA 95035. 800-325-4966. Circle 411.
Shielded Hood and Housings
A complete line of EMC multipole hoods, housings and wire entry glands
maintain compliance with the low-voltage guidelines of the EMC directive.
They are ideal for pluggable power and signal connections in industrial
environments and medical equipment applications. The line also includes
cable glands in 13.5, 16, 21 and 29 Pg sizes with grounding capabilities,
and chromated steel locking levers. Wieland Electric Inc, 49
International Rd, Burgaw, NC 28425. 800-WIELAND. Circle 412.
Alphanumeric Displays
The CXG series of SAIA-Burgess programmable units can be configured for
various counted and metered data display. They can present up to six digits
with a decimal point on a seven segment 48mm x 24mm LED display. Pulse generation
can be from contacts, voltage pulses, NPN/PNP (pull-up or pull-down), or
electronic transmitters. The unit can be flush mounted with a plastic spring
clip or M4 screws. Maxmar Controls Inc, 99 Castleton St, Pleasantville,
NY 10570. 800-713-4893. Circle 413.
Surface Mount Crystals
The HC49SD surface mount, low profile crystal series has expanded its
frequencies. Used in computers and peripherals, the metal can crystals now
offer a standard range of 3.200MHz to 70.000 MHz, with a frequency tolerance
at 25°C of ±30 PPM. Shunt capacitance is 7.0 pF, standard load
capacitance for parallel standard crystals is 20 pF, and the drive level
is 0.5 mW. The 3.6mm high unit is also offered in thru-hole style. Fox
Electronics, 5570 Enterprise Parkway, Fort Myers, FL 33905. 888-438-2369.

Surge Suppression
Designed specifically for irrigation control equipment, the SPR-SN series
of surge suppressors feature sub-nanosecond response times to protect controllers
on AC input, pump and solenoid station drive lines from severe transients
caused by lightning strike, electrical noise and power line transients.
Hermetically sealed against most harsh environments, the units have an automatic
reset that requires no maintenance. Circuit Components Inc, 2400
S Roosevelt St, Tempe, AZ 85282. 602-967-0624. Circle 414.
