Rebuildable lip seal.

The OmniLip-RS features an easily disassembled case construction ring for easy replacement of the inner sealing elements. It is offered in standard or custom sizes, with glass- or carbon-filled PTFE seals and seal case materials, such as carbon or stainless steels, aluminum, hastelloy or incoloy alloys. The OmniLip-RS can run dry or with limited lubrication, in temperature extremes from -66 to 450°F. It can handle pressures in excess of 500 PSI, surface speeds up to 7,000 feet per minute, and has broad chemical resistance. Primarily made 2- to 20-in. shaft sizes, it can be used in mixers, hydraulic motors and pumps, vacuum pumps, blowers, robotics and processing equipment. Visible in-line filters. These filters feature a clear acrylic housing for easy viewing of contamination build-up, and color-coded elements of polyester or nylon that indicate filtration size. Standard elements are 5, 74, 130 and 167 microns, and many other optional sizes are available. The in-line filters have 1/8, 1/4- and 3/8-in. Filter line expansion. Fluorodyne II filter cartridges are now available in 0.45µm (DBLP), 0.2µm (DFLP) and 0.1µm (DJLP) grades. Used in critical applications in the pharmaceutical, biological and biotechnology industries, the filters are constructed with double layer polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) membranes, and provide superior flow rates and high throughputs with low extractables for a variety of liquids. Valve sealant and lubricant. Usable on piping systems and other components where potable water is present, the 111 Valve Lubricant & Sealant provides a long-lasting barrier with very good water washout resistance. It is listed under NSF Standard 51 for use in food processing equipment, and FDA Regulation No. 21 CFR 175.300 for incidental food contact. High-strength cartridge. The Fulflo DuraBond filter cartridge line features an integral, rigid, thermally bonded construction that provides consistent filtration for a wide variety of fluids. Rigid construction eliminates contaminant unloading and channeling, and its fixed pore structure acts as a sieve-like particle classification filter for pigmented coatings. Fiber packings with Teflon. Braided fiber packings impregnated with Teflon fluoropolymer dispersion are meeting needs for shaft seal in chemical process, pulp and paper, and other industries. The packings are produced from a variety of fibers, including flax, graphite, carbon, aramid and others. Applications include sealing pump shafts, valve stems and other components in fluid-handling equipment. Automatic drain filters. Three models were introduced in a series for systems requiring clean, oil-free air, such as laboratory air, process control, instrument and compressed air systems. The Model FF particulate filter removes condensed liquids, rust, scale, pipe sealant and dirt particles down to 5 microns. Sample filters. Balston stainless steel sample filters are specifically designed to protect process analyzers and monitoring equipment from sample impurities. Improved steam seal. The GTS steam seal is designed to reduce steam leakage volume by several orders of magnitude when used to replace split carbon rings. It uses a bellows design that eliminates the dynamic gasket, so solids deposited on the atmospheric side of a turbine shaft do not cause secondary seal hang-up. It has a carbon stator and a silicon carbide rotor, and is available in internal and external configurations.
