Reflective color sensors
Each of these three (red, green and blue) reflective color sensors combines a color LED die and a light-to-voltage converter, with a corresponding color filter in a surface mount package. The output of each device is a voltage that is directly proportional to the reflected color light. Because they emit and respond to single colors, the sensors have excellent signal-to-noise ratio in applications such as currency detection and validation, label edge detection, color detection in paper, textiles and cosmetics, as well as in process control applications. Drive current may be as low as 250 µA. The TRS 1722 is rated for red wavelengths of 630nm, TRS1755 is green (567nm), and TRS1766 is blue (470nm).

Interchangeable heads. The ZX laser measurement sensor’s amplifier can interface with three red through-beams and eight visible red displacement sensor heads. Direct PC connectivity enables users to monitor operations, gather data and change operating values. A built-in resolution indicator aids adjustment of high and low measurement values. Displacement sensing distance is 500mm, and through-beam sensing is 2000mm.
