Accelerometer

  • dual-axis

  • low-g

With high temperature stability, dual sensing, and integrated signal conditioning electronics on a single monolithic IC, the ADXL203 iMEMS (integrated Micro Electro Mechanical System) accelerometer addresses a range of low-g sensing applications where performance, board space, quality and reliability are critical. Sensitivity stability is ±0.3% over a temperature range of –40 to 125°C. High zero-g bias accuracy is typically ±25 mg and stability is typically better than 0.1 mg/°C. The unit has a typical low-g range of ±1.7g and can measure both static (inclination) and dynamic (vibration) acceleration. Analog voltage outputs are proportional to acceleration with a nominal scale factor of 1 V/g. Typical noise floor is 150 ig/rt-Hz, allowing signals below 1 mg (0.06-degrees inclination) to be resolved in tilt sensing applications using narrow bandwidths under 10Hz. Analog Devices, Norwood, MA. www.rsleads.com/306df-205
