Polymer material.
This material is the result of improvement in bearing
composition. A radial swelling rating of 0.0% allows the iglide H370 series to
thrive in wet environments and even function exceptionally well underwater. In continuous
motion, iglide H370 operates within a temperature range of -8° to 392°F. In addition to
resisting moisture, the H370 material is resistant to dirt, dust and lint. The material is
ideal for applications involving frequent washdown. Iglide has been proven in several
applications within the packaging industry including bottle-filling machines. igus,

Laminates and composites. The Polycor line offers solutions
for noise, vibration and heat in automotive, appliance, computer disk drive, office
equipment and aircraft applications. Quiet Steel is a damping material composed of steel,
aluminum, galvalume or other substrates and a viscoelastic polymer core. Thermalcore is
comprised of aluminum foil, graphite, e-glass, or adhesive film. MSC Laminates and

Thermally conductive compound. The Konduit line of
thermoplastics is a composite of plastic resins and thermally conductive additives
designed to overcome the base resins' natural insulation properties and conduct heat.
According to the manufacturer, Konduit compounds provide ten to fifty times more thermal
conductivity than unfilled and reinforced thermoplastic materials. LNP Engineering

Acetal homopolymer. Sustarin has higher mechanical properties
at extreme temperatures than many copolymer acetals. The material is FDA and USDA
approved. The material is most cost-effective in applications where additional strength
and rigidity is crucial. It has a specific gravity of 1.42, a tensile strength of 10.400
psi, and a Rockwell hardness of R119-122. Its temperature range is -40° to 212°F. Sustaplast,

Low emissivity foam. Polydamp is a thermal insulating material
for use in equipment where operators or components need to be kept at very stable
temperatures. It is designed to insulate medical equipment, refrigeration units and
buildings. The product offers a solution to conduction, convection, and radiation
problems. It is available in sheets, rolls, or fabricated shapes with an optional PSA
backing. Polymer Technologies, 420 Corporate Blvd, Newark, DE 19702.

Polyimide plates. Pyropel HD is a high-purity thermoset
polyimide machining stock ideal for the manufacture of parts subjected to high
temperatures or chemical attack. With temperature resistance to 550°F, it exceeds the
upper continuous use limits of engineering grade thermoplastics such as PEEK and Torlon.
This product also meets outgassing and ionic purity standards in the semiconductor
industry. Albany International High Performance Materials, 777 West St, PO
