Torque Motor

Direct drive technology produces peak power from the IndraDyn T series of torque motors. These synchronous, frameless motors consist of a stator with 3-phase winding and a rotor with permanent magnets. The design eliminates wear-prone mechanical elements such as gears, while simultaneously significantly increasing accuracy and precision. The series ranges in size, offering maximum torque ratings of up to 4,500 Nm, and speeds from 100 to 1200 rpm. The motors are designed for link circuit voltages of up to 750V, have liquid cooling (including thermal encapsulation), and exhibit an extremely low degree of torque ripple. IndraDyn T motors can also be operated without cooling — integrated temperature sensors protect windings against thermal overload. Standardized power and cooling connections are provided.

Servos for harsh environments

These IP66 sealed servo motors feature a finless housing with an FDA- and USDA-approved aluminum oxide coating infused with a PTFE polymer. Serial interface

This company now offers a Serial Peripheral Interface protocol for all of its motor amplifiers. The arrangement uses a 3-wire digital interface to carry digital commands in MASTER mode from a controller. The driver will receive the command in the SLAVE mode. The MASTER on the clock rise updates data, while the SLAVE samples the data on the clock negative derivative.
