High pressure valve. The CV series is capable of continuous operation to 10,000
psi. The internal volume of fluid does not change when the valve is switched, nor does it
trap fluids as a ball valve does. The CV valves can be placed in ovens, if required, while
the solenoid-actuated pilot valves are placed outside where they can be either manually
operated or controlled from a computer. The valves are supplied with fittings for either
1/8- or 1/4-in. high pressure tubing. On/off or three-way four-position valve combinations
are available. All models are made with corrosion resistant materials such as stainless
steel or Hastelloy C-276. Vindum Engineering, One Woodview Ct, San Ramon, CA

Plastic flow switch. Model 2100 is constructed with
polysulfone and is used for detecting insufficient flow rates in liquids. It incorporates
a low flow orifice and adapter assembly which makes the flow switch capable of set points
as low as 1 cc/min. in water. Without this assembly, the unit can yield high set points up
to 1.5 GPM. Maximum pressure is 250 psig @ 70°F, with a maximum temperature of 225°F. Thomas

Fluid process control head. The type 8630 integrated control
head unit is for easy on/off or continuous process control. Built with a decentralized
intelligence, these compact, stand-alone control modules function as a position sensor,
micro-processor controller and pilot actuator. The control head accepts three sensor input
types: PT 100, 4-20mA or frequency. Units are powered with 24 VDC and offer two binary
outputs. Burkert Contromatic, 2602 McGaw Ave, Irvine, CA 92614.

Flowmeter. Series VFF Visi-Float flowmeters allow the user to
set the flow rate while visually monitoring it. These small, durable instruments, designed
to handle pressures up to 100 psi and temperatures up to 150°F, can be used to control
and/or indicate water flow in a wide variety of applications. They may be installed in any
position. The metering tube is machined into the solid-acrylic housing. Dwyer

Precision dispensers. The STH, STQ and RH line of dispensers
integrate valveless piston technology with precision stepper motor control. The dispenser
features one moving part -- a ceramic piston which rotates and reciprocates within a
precision ceramic liner -- and an inert fluid path of ceramic and fluorocarbon. Metering
and dispensing accuracy is better than 1%. They have a range from 0.002- to 1.28-
ml/stroke. Fluid Metering, 5 Aerial Way, Ste 500, Syosset, NY 11791.

Electro-pneumatic valve. The Sentronic valve is an electro-pneumatic pressure
regulating valve with a pressure range from vacuum to 725 psi. The unit offers many
different configurations that can be used with water, air, inert gases and some specific
explosive gases. It is available in four different sizes, 1/8-, 1/4-, 1/2- and 1-in. NPT
or G thread types. All of the valves are compact in size. They have a hysteresis of 0.5%,
a repeatability of 0.5% and a linearity of 0.5%. Two different models of the valves are
offered for open and closed loop valve systems. ASCO Pneumatic Controls, 460

Solenoid valves. This line of general purpose solenoid valves
is available in brass, 316 stainless steel, electroless nickel plated and delrin. The
valves are available in sizes from 1/8- to 2-in. as 2-way NC or NO. They have a maximum
operating pressure differential of 430 psig and a maximum working temperature of 360°F.
All valves in the line can be equipped with an electronic timer. Granzow,
