Tough-duty switch.
This snap-action switch breaks the load in two places to minimize electrical arcing
that causes switch contacts to deteriorate. Other features include a two-spring
"butterfly" design that produces high contact pressure in vibration- or
shock-related applications, and a standard enlarged nylon button in the middle of the
switch saves the cost of levers and/or external actuators. The switch is also offered in
standard or low-force momentary action, as well as reset action, and with roller lever or
pushbutton actuators. Current ratings are up to 1/2 hp for 125 VAC and 3/4 hp for 250 VAC.
