Ultrasonic distance sensors
Only 4 in. long and housed in a 30 mm threaded stainless steel case, the TS-30S1 line of ToughSonic sensors measures distances from 6 in. up to 14 ft, even in wet or dirty environments. The non-contact devices are waterproof (rated IP-68), and feature a narrow beam pattern, allowing their long range to be used in confined spaces. For design flexibility, the TS-30S1 is configured with dual outputs in several combinations of 4-20 mA, 0-10 VDC, sinking switch, sourcing switch and RS-232/485. There are no potentiometers — a simple pushbutton handles setup and calibration. A rear indicator displays output status and fault conditions. Positioning transducers
