In development for more than three years, this series of 3V Lithium batteries has three times the pulse rate capability of standard Lithium batteries, can operate in both extreme cold (as low as -40ºC) and intense heat (up to 100ºC) applications, and is environmentally safe. Designed for tire pressure monitoring systems, required by legislation to be on all automobiles by 2005, the battery also has applications for radio frequency devices such as tollbooth tags and other Blue Tooth, IEEE 802.11 wireless devices. Resettable device
These polymeric positive temperature coefficient (PPTC) resettable devices offer significant performance advantage over traditional fuses.
