The Clincher series of parallel shaft-mount gearboxes has been expanded by the SK 12382, a larger size that delivers a maximum output torque of 796,500 lb-in. in a triple-stage, helically-geared layout. The increased output was accomplished through the use of reinforced construction, higher-grade materials and power condensation. Available with either a solid or hollow output shaft, the SK 12382 has mounting flexibility achieved through optional accessories that allow the units to be foot-mounted. Power range is from 15 to 200 hp, output speeds are from 8.7 to 62 rpm, and gear ratios range from 69:1 to 202:1. Efficiency is up to 98.5%. The UNICASE one-piece cast-iron housing prolongs gear and bearing life, while a Quadrilip oil sealing system prevents leaking and protects the gears from external damage. Right-angle helical gear drives
