Peel-N-Place ArraysAnywhere there is a button that is pushed, there is an application for Peel-N-Place tactile dome switch arrays, manufactured by Snaptron, Loveland, CO. These arrays are custom designed, and manufactured in OEM quantities, for applications that call for the precise placement of multiple domes onto membranes, flex circuits and printed circuit boards. All of the domes used in the arrays are made of stainless steel with optional nickel, silver or gold plating available. The domes are SPST and have a switching voltage of 0.1 to 50 VDC, a switching current of 0.005 to 100 mA, and a switching capacity of 1Watt. They have an operating temperature range from -45° C to 100° C, and are available in a variety of sizes and actuation forces. The Peel-N-Place dome arrays are pre-loaded polyester dome carriers backed with pressure sensitive adhesive. They allow for the easy and precise placement of all dome switches at once, resulting in reduced production time. Once the backing is peeled off, the dome switches are easily placed onto
a printed circuit board or membrane. The arrays eliminate errors such as
misplaced domes, and can be customized to fit any specific product need.
