Toggle Switches
These tiny and versatile switches satisfy applications in equipment for data processing
telecommunications, automation, computers and peripherals, and many others. Both panel
mounting and printed circuit mounting types are available, with optional threaded bushings
for securing to a front panel, although most printed circuit mounting applications will
specify the plain (unthreaded) bushing. Silver or gold contact material options are
offered. Maximum AC/DC contact ratings for the silver contacts are 0.5 A @ 48V, and 0.4 VA
@ 20V for the gold. The operating temperature range is -30° to 85°C. Contact life is
20,000 cycles/min for silver and 60,000 cycles/min for gold. Apem Components,

Solid state relay. Compatible with existing industry-standard
Japanese models and American designs, the SG series features a photo-triac coupler and can
be specified with an internal zero cross circuit and/or a varistor. The device has an
input voltage of 3 to 24 VDC and a load voltage range of 75-265 Vrms. Isolation is 2500
Vrms between input and output. Its single-in-line (SIL) package occupies minimal board
area. Fujitsu Takamisawa America, 250 E Caribbean Dr, Sunnyvale, CA 94089.

Current switch. The CR9321 series was developed for
applications that require an on/off indication of current flow. It was specifically
designed for low-cost, high-volume OEM applications of monitoring motor overloads and
heater elements. The CR9321 is fully isolated to protect delicate monitoring equipment. It
is also self-powered requiring no external power supply. CR Magnetics, 544

Electronic solenoid switch. This electronic solenoid uses
solid-state circuitry to eliminate movable parts that can wear out, allowing the switch to
withstand one million on-off cycles. The electronic switching mechanism eliminates
problems associated with electrical arcing. The same solenoid can be used for 12 VDC and
24 VDC uses. Operating temperature range is from -40° to 85°C. Cole Hersee,

Hermetically sealed switch. The series 6600 switch is a
long-life, hermetically sealed switch designed for harsh environments where extended
hermetic seal integrity of the switch is critical. This switch is designed to last the
life of the product for most applications, thereby reducing costs often associated with
project downtime. The switch has been designed to operate below 5mA @ 28 VDC, in a
temperature range betweeen 65° and 400°F. HSI, 1500 Meriden Rd, Waterbury,

Magnetic click switches. This push-button switch combines the
best properties of mechanical and membrane switches. It remedies collapsing domes, teasing
problems, early failure and inconsistent actuation force. In tests, the PushGate switched
over 200 million actuations. The switch features a low-profile panel only one-tenth of an
inch thick. It makes a "click" when pushed and released. Dura Switch

Snap-in switch. This panel-mounted switch is designed for
harsh and rugged environmental conditions. The series 49-9 is waterproof and splashproof,
ESD resistant, and has crisp momentary action. It features a thermoplastic snap-in housing
for quick and easy installation from the front of the panel. Suited for temperatures
ranging up to 125°C, the switch's ESD level is rated at 15KV minimum. ITW Switches,

Membrane touch switch. This switch is resistant to damage from
pens, pencils, screwdrivers, and other sharp objects. The switch is easily actuated
through a protective front surface and complies with standard specifications. The unit's
durable front surface can be constructed from a variety of materials, including aluminum
and stainless steel. Front surface thickness is up to 0.040-in. Monopanel
