Product News Compact PCI PC/AT card. The cPRO3 is an extension of the PROTEUS family of the company's line of embedded computers. It was designed without excessive overhead for customization requirements. It offers processor speeds up to 333 MHz, up to 128 MB of EDO DRAM, 512 KB of level 2 cache, and up to 144MB of flash-disk-on-chip. The card also offers two serial RS-232 ports, a parallel printer port and ethernet capacity. Additionally, the cPRO3 uses an Award BIOS in Flash ROM to allow future BIOS upgrades to be programmed on-site. The card also incorporates the I/O capabilities of a complete PC/AT, dual USB and keyboard/mouse ports. Its COM-2 serial port is enhanced for software selectable RS-422 or RS-485 operation. High temperature polymers. Technical Bulletin A6 describes this company's entire line of high-temp polymers and ceramic-based protective coatings. Corr-Paint coatings are based on ceramic, silicon and urethane chemistries, and provide excellent corrosion and temperature resistance from 200° to 1500°F. The silicon-based member of this group (Corr-Paint CP40XX) provides additional resistance to outdoor weathering, UV, salt spray and thermal cycling, and is offered in six different pigments. Cold metalizing. LuminOre offers the appearance of a metal surface without forged metal processes. Instead, the application can be either cold-spray, cold-cast or hand applied with standard HVLP spray equipment and standard metal polishing tools. LuminOre composites contain up to 95 percent metal solids, provide a seamless application, conduct heat and are scientifically validated not to conduct electricity. The material is used by furniture manufacturers, and by the entertainment industry in film sets and props. Pulsed metering pump. The series PX electronic

integrates the ADSP-2171, a 16-bit, fixed-point DSP, capable of processing up to 26

Conductive film. Useful in microwave and heat
sink applications, 5025E adhesive film is a silver-filled, unsupported epoxy, electrically
conductive in the x, y and z axes. A high level of thermal conductivity allows for bonding
of "hot" components onto heat sinks where electrical insulation isn't required.
