Using MEMs technology, the AS 5020 encoder provides up to 64 positions of non-contact, absolute rotary position sensing. The 6-bit devices provide real-time encoding in applications with rotation speeds up to 30,000 rpm. Absolute positional information is accessed via a 3-wire synchronous serial interface, and is compatible with µ controller-based systems.
