This company has introduced what it says is the industry’s largest permanent magnet clutch and brake. Called the Precision Tork M9, it features adjustable torque capabilities ranging from 15 lb-in. to 300 lb-in and offers nearly five times the maximum torque capacity of comparable products, says the company. In addition, the Precision Tork M9 has an infinite number of adjustments for precise torque control within its available torque range. The M9 clutches and brakes use permanent magnets and have no mechanical wear parts or electrical connections, requiring virtually no maintenance They provide smooth torque at low and high speeds as well as a long, dependable life.

gearhead. The TP-High Torque planetary gearhead offers 110% higher torque, 50% greater rigidity, and 700% higher overload safety than the original model. In addition, the low-backlash gearhead is available in a very compact size, reducing the amount of space required for servo drive systems.
