The IP57B series is a second generation design that offers integer ratios, low backlash, and up to a 10:1 ratio in a single stage. The NEMA size 23 gearboxes are available with five stock ratios from 5 to 100:1, nine standard ratios from 4 to 500:1, and thirty-four optional ratios from 3 to 1000:1. Maximum static output torque for the IP57B series is 70 Nm (620 lb-in.). Maximum input speed rating is 5000 rpm, and average single-stage backlash is 20 arc-minutes. Typical life expectancy for the gearbox exceeds 5000 operating hours, especially with the optional bearing upgrade. Each gearbox is supplied complete with adapters and an Easyfit clamp-on pinion.
