The Office of Naval Research (ONR) program called Ion Tiger is testing a hydrogen-powered fuel cell design for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). Currently, Ion Tiger is capable of 24-hr flight with a 5-lb payload. The goal is to increase mission distance and/or time while featuring more stealth. View the video
