Extend the life of your bearings with this spring
Single-Turn Wave Springs are ideal for preloading bearings, effectively eliminating play and minimizing noise. By applying constant light-to-medium pressure, they remove any play between the ball bearings and the inner and outer races. This preloading feature significantly reduces the risk of bearing damage due to vibratory loading and minimizes wear from repetitive and non-repetitive runout. Additionally, these springs are designed with gap or overlap geometry to prevent binding in tight radial spaces.

What is a magnet valve?
AGM's Ultra-High-Flow Relief Valves are magnetically actuated to provide flow rates specifically capable of venting a container to relieve catastrophic pressure buildup during decompression events. Unlike conventional spring-actuated valves, AGM magnet valves fully open once the desired pressure threshold is reached to achieve full air-flow almost instantly. This stops excessive differentials from damaging containers, housing, or enclosures.

New bearing can be remanufactured again and again
The experts at SKF say they have developed a machine bearing that can be reclad and reused repeatedly. SKF multi-material Infinium bearings can not only have damaged areas repaired, but they can also be reclad with different materials that exhibit different or enhanced performance.

Top Tech Tip: All about slip rings: How they work and their uses
Rotary Systems has put together a really nice basic primer on slip rings -- electrical swivels that carry a current from a stationary wire into a rotating device. Common uses are for power, proximity switches, strain gauges, video, and Ethernet signal transmission. This intro also covers how to specify, assembly types, and interface requirements. Rotary Systems manufactures rotary unions for fluid applications too.
