HRG Miniature Roller Type LM Guide
The HRG from THK is an LM Guide that uses rollers for the rolling elements. As the smallest roller type guides, the HRG8, 10, and 12 achieve higher rigidity and a longer service life than other LM Guide models of similar size. It can handle loads applied from four directions. The HRG can be used in a variety of mounting orientations (wall-mounted, horizontal, inverted, and vertical), making it suitable for a wide range of applications.

Filter fans, exhaust filters, and hoods
Seifert filter fans feature a robust plastic-molded design with various AC and DC voltage options for power. All filter fan cutout dimensions comply with the market standards. UL listed filter fan packages include IP54 standard version, IP55, and EMC as well as UL type 12 and UL type 3R.

Integrated air filters at your system's inlet and outlet ensure that the cabinet remains clear of dust and any other contaminating airborne particles. Mounting our fans into the cutout is a very quick procedure and requires no tools. When necessary, the filters are also easily replaceable.
Learn more about Seifert fans and other accessories. A downloadable brochure is available too.

3D printer integrates thermoplastics and carbon fiber for large hypersonic parts
Engineers at Northrop Grumman are accelerating the development of high-temperature materials by using an industrial 6-axis continuous fiber-reinforced 3D printer they created that enables the fabrication of large, freeform, integrated composite structures for hypersonics. The unique process does not require tooling and reduces manufacturing time and cost by up to 50% over traditional methods. Very cool to see it work.

Stainless steel couplings for hydraulics
Kurt Hydraulics has introduced a new lineup of stainless steel couplings for applications ranging from marine hydraulics, food production, and medical processes to fertilizer and chemical handling or other tough applications requiring washdowns. These couplings are manufactured from high carbon grade 316 SS with high nickel and chromium content, which provides resistance to chemical attack and corrosion, along with extreme durability compared to standard steel. Kurt stainless steel couplings meet or exceed SAE specifications and are U.S.C.G. accepted. Available in five different styles with multiple sizes.
